The order of precendence of these shows is arguable but it is generally accepted within the dachshund fraternity that the National Dachshund Show held every two or three years is the most important with the various National Agricultural Societies “Royal Shows” vying with the one or more State Dachshund Club shows held each year for the title of most important ‘annual’ show.
